East Lancashire Lions

The East Lancashire Lions are based in Darwen in Lancashire and currently play in the Rugby League Conference National division. The East Lancashire Lions play their home games at the Anchor Ground, the home of Darwen Football Club. In 2006 East Lancashire Lions played their first season and were able to get into the Harry Jepson Trophy Grand Final but were knocked out by South London Storm 30-0. In 2007 East Lancashire Lions won only 4 out of 16 matches and ended up coming eighth in the league.
